“They’re not sure if they can get a massage, and they don’t know how they’re going to get paid,” said one former therapist.

Most massage therapists do not want to work in a medical setting, because they feel that it does not fit in with their values and beliefs about their profession.

This is not to say that you should not work in the field, but you should consider other career paths if you’re interested.

Make sure you are comfortable in the profession.

Many massage therapists have a history of treating people with different body types and styles of pain, and that is an excellent qualification for a medical office setting.

“You’re not going to work as a massage practitioner if you have any kind of chronic pain, you have some chronic disease,” said another former massage practitioner.
